The National Academy of Plastic Surgeons’ Top 10 Plastic Surgeon Award is an achievement reserved for only those who have demonstrated the highest degree of excellence in his or her practice. Because of their stringent standards, less than 1% of Plastic Surgeons Nationwide will receive an invitation for this award and inclusion in the top 10 list. Dr. Joseph Mele has received invitations 5 years in a row.
What is the National Academy of Plastic Surgeons?
Each year, since 2019, the National Academy of Plastic Surgeons has recognized Plastic Surgeons who maintain the highest standards of excellence, and those whose practice elevates the standards of Plastic Surgery as a whole as well. Their goal is to exhibit and promote standards of excellence in the field to provide a benchmark for other practitioners.
